With its release timed to Valentine’s Day, the game instantly creates the perfect mood, bringing a player to the small seaside town where there are ten singles in desperate need for advice from an observant matchmaker.
In the game you assume the role of Helen Jones, a nice woman that moves to a resort town where even wind whispers love. However, there are still some lonely hearts that haven’t found partners yet. An encounter with a new neighbor inspires you to start helping singles choose a partner employing your own highly efficient approach.

To make sure the choice is right you will also have to spot identical objects in the rooms of the single and the potential partner, as they are bound to have lots in common. After the match has been found, you help your friend make an impressive gift and organize the perfect first date – each of the tasks featuring its own challenge, including searching objects by name and by shape and finding a right place for an item.

November 24, 2009: Dekovir Entertainment has announced the release of Hidden Magic, a game that combines Hidden Object tasks and magic battles. The player needs to find necessary ingredients to cast spells and defeat the enemies. The battles alternate with puzzles and more relaxed hidden object tasks, which add new spells to the player’s magic book. Besides the unique gameplay, Hidden Magic is remarkable for good graphics, which makes the search process quite challenging, and for special effects of magic battles.
Actually, Hidden Magic is a combination of several game genres: hidden objects, adventure, strategy, puzzle, arcade and action. The plot of the game is the following: two magicians lived happily together on the edge of the woods, but one dreadful night a troop of goblins kidnapped one of them. The player chooses whether to play as the sorcerer or the sorceress and starts on a journey to rescue the kidnapped spouse. The only clue is the scattered map fragments left by the goblins, and the only weapon is magic (the hero takes magic ingredients, the cauldron, and the book of spells).
On the way to the castle of a Demon the player has to fight various enemies. In the course of a battle it is possible to cast spells using the cauldron and numerous ingredients arranged on the shelves. Below the shelves there are the lists of required items (e.g. Meteor Shower: grasshopper, black spider, gold nugget…9 items left), and the player must pick the necessary ones.
Sometimes the battles alternate with vague visions of magical places – a certain picture shows through the thick fog and breaks into pieces. The player should work out the puzzle to get to that place and complete a hidden object task to add more powerful spells to the book.
As for the graphics, all the sceneries and items are depicted in detail and thus contribute to the reality of the game. But the special effects certainly deserve special mention: each spell is shown with unique visual and sound effects. The perfect examples of special effects are the sparks of Thunderbolt, the flame of Fireball or the disastrous Meteor Shower.
Features:
- 60 battle challenges, 36 monsters and 21 powerful spells;
- Unique battle mechanics based on Hidden Object tasks;
- Adventurous plot;
- Advanced graphics;
- Impressive special effects.
Pricing and Availability
Hidden Magic runs under Windows ME/XP/Vista and costs 9.99 USD (7.99 EU). Further information on the product is available at http://www.dekovir.com/hidden-magic.html

Funny Bear Studio announces the release of World Riddles: Animals, the game offering the chance to travel around the world while solving nonogram logic puzzles.
Nonograms, also known as picross or griddlers, are picture logic puzzles in which cells in a grid have to be colored according to numbers given at the side of the grid to reveal a hidden picture. Providing a huge collection of griddlers to solve, World Riddles enables a player to flex mental muscles in a captivating way. Much like a training program created by an experienced coach, the game starts with simpler nonograms to give a player a feel for this kind of puzzles, gradually increasing their difficulty.
The aim of the game is to collect the seven parts of the Medallion. This can be achieved by exploring North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Antarctica, which involves solving the set of nonograms for each of the seven continents.
Solving nonograms without mistakes, with no hints and within a time limit earns a player badges. If a player manages to collect all the badges, he is rewarded with the golden part of the Medallion; otherwise he receives a silver part. Those who consider silver not satisfactory enough can replay the level to perfection to get the golden part.

October 20, 2009 – StrongGames has announced the release of Gloom Beacon, the new addictive game that successfully blends role-playing set and turn-based card strategy. The game offers the chance to get into the world of magic and challenge the evil wizard and his black army.
Gloom Beacon tells a tale of Oasis, once a thriving trade center, which has been turned into the residence of the Dark Lord named Krachont. In the game, a player takes on the role of a brave warrior who makes up his mind to fight Krachont.
