StatPlus Gains Muscle

AnalystSoft announces the update of StatPlus, a heavy-duty mathematical and statistical analysis suite. The new release features additional functionality such as Discriminant function analysis, and supports latest versions of OpenOffice and Microsoft Excel. The latest version of StatPlus has become cross-platform, and is available for Windows and Mac, as well as a portable edition for Windows.
AnalystSoft also announces a brand-new discount program for educational facilities and users of multiple licenses. Offering packs of 5, 10, and 20 licenses at deep discounts, AnalystSoft makes it possible for colleges and universities to equip entire classes with latest technology statistical analysis, and allows companies to use StatPlus on every workstation without the need of connecting to a dedicated terminal server. The new StatPlus does not require online activation to make installing and using StatPlus on multiple workstations easy and straightforward.

Corel Corporation Responds to Reports Regarding Potential Sale of the Company

OTTAWA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Corel Corporation (NASDAQ:CREL)(TSX:CRE), a leading developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software (“Corel”), today responding to previous reports, and consistent with its press release issued Monday, August 18th, which indicated that its Special Committee had “identified” strategic alternatives, stated that it is in discussions with a third party regarding a potential sale of Corel. No agreement has been reached regarding a sale of Corel and there can be no assurance that such an agreement will be reached. ExtraMind Systems announces Instant Navigator 0.7, a plug-in for Microsoft OneNote, enhancing it with an instant “quick-as-you-type” search capability and some other productivity features.
Russia - July 28, 2008: Searching for a note in Microsoft OneNote can be a bit complicated. A typical user has hundreds if not thousands of notes he wants to find quickly. But OneNote doesn’t make it easy to do. When you search for a note, OneNote displays all instances of a keyword it finds inside pages, so you have to browse through an endless number of pages or go to the “Search” options to change search criteria, which you also do several times until you find what you want. Adding new notes every day makes things even more complicated.
